This is a Sailing Licence created by United Nations and as of 2014 is specifically required for anyone intending on sailing in Europe. Other sailing association certificates or international proficiency documents are no longer accepted. It is additionally accepted by all yacht charter companies worldwide (along with an acceptable amount of practical experience of course).
