Captain Andy was the perfect instructor. He knew all the material and we had in-depth conversations about all aspects of sailing. He embodies the values of NauticEd in developing competency.

Captain Andy was an exceptional teacher, instructor, and evaluator. He was quick to comment on actions that he saw were positive as well as actions that he saw could be improved upon or thought through differently and likely safer. I really appreciated Captain Andy's style, methods, and professionalism. Even though I have worked as a professional captain and have 30 years of sailboat racing on vessels from 70'-18', captain Andy provided valuable and useful instruction and insight to further improve my skills. I would highly recommend Captain Andy to anyone looking for a professional captain or instructor.

I've been an instructor, and instructor of instructors, in high performance aircraft for more than 30 years. I've seen and trained a lot of instructors who teach a highly challenging and complex subject. Andy is as good as I've ever seen. He has absolute mastery of his craft, and he delivers the content with good-natured skill, and with the grace of a true pro. Absolutely first class experience! I'll be back. Andy has my highest personal and professional recommendation.
