My personal comment and commitment to you

While my passion is growing NauticEd globally as the Director of Education, I still need to get out on the water and what better way than to actually be doing some teaching. Our HQ Sailing school has three boats in our fleet. A new Jeanneau 410 for Bareboat Charter Training, a Beneteau 373, and a Hunter 33 for doing large keelboat training. Come to beautiful Lake Travis, learn to sail and learn about NauticEd's global plans at the same time. Or join us on our many International flotillas we organize. And what better way to be skipper on a flotilla is to get some local training on our amazing fleet of boats. Call us now.

Juice up your Sailing Certificate. Take an online sailing course from NauticEd and get professional practical sailing instruction from Grant Headifen.

It was a pleasure having Grant do my assessment. He was very professional and thorough, and used numerous real life situations to test my skills. While the assessment process can be stressful on the student, Grant's friendly nature will put any sailor at ease.

Grant has been excellent to work with over the last 3 years. The curriculum was outstanding and is far more complex than the IPC that I took thru US Sailing

Grant gave me an administrative pass for practical since I was issued an ICC by Copper Boating, BC, Canada under the IYT program. The Cooper instructor did refer to the NauticEd Practical Competency Assessment Rubrics methodology ( I gave him a copy for reference), in additiona to the ICC standard from IYT. The test was completed on a charter boat that I had arranged for.

This was an incredible experience! This was not only an evaluation of my level of knowledge and sailing skills, but it was also an incredible teaching opportunity I was fortunate to have. Grant is an incredible instructor and has an ability to drive a concept or lesson home by making it poignant. He does not just repeat a fact, but teaches in a way that makes it easy to internalize the information. I also appreciated Bruce Schwaegel of Landfall Sailing who crewed. Bruce is also extremely knowledgable and an awesome instructor.

This is a test because I am rating myself

Well there is not much to say after looking at the ratings! Grant did an excellent job of coaching, teaching and furthering my knowledge of sailing and especially in maneuvering under power in 20+knots of wind.
