Mike Soutos - SAILING TRAINING

Private Instructor - Lefkas, Levkas, Greece
Born by the sea, grew up swimming, fishing and playing around the waters of northern Aegean, Nobody used to learn swimming in a pool in Greece back in the days. It was all in the fresh med waters, usually since the age of 1. Stepped on my first windsurf board when I was 12, when I truly faced, appreciated and eventually respected the power of the wind. Left to the UK after school for studying Civil Engineering and working in corporate environments until 2007 when I had enough of the rain and returned to Greece to take my day skipper license. It was all regattas & chartering after that while working as an engineer in Construction. In 2017 I decided I do not want the sailboat project to be my retirement plan any more. Life only happens once! Quit the engineering job, found some funding, bought my beautiful Oasis, a Beneteau Oceanis 43. Thats it! Vacation is my occupation since then, skippering full time this and other boats in the Beautiful Waters of the Ionian Islands, Greece!
