I am a lifetime boater, and I want to help you experience the joy I have on the water. How can I do that? By helping you gain the knowledge and skills you need to be able to safely and competently captain a vessel. I started sailing at the age of four with my family, and have not stopped boating since (56 years). I sail, but I am not a Sailor. I know this because my brother is one, and I understand the passion Sailors have. I am a Powerboater, since the age of six. I honed my early skills on a classic Whaler Montauk. I continued to learn on a 42 Chris Craft Cruiser. Since then I have been on the water any time I can, skippering boats up to 52 feet, both sailing and power. A few years ago I decided I want to help others enjoy boating. Now I teach, and I love it! Helping boaters gain or improve their on-water skills is highly rewarding. Seeing the excitement when a new boater successfully docks is exhilarating. Nailed it! I look forward to helping you.
