Level IV Bareboat Charter Master Rank Chief Powerboat Instructor / Assessor

Captain Kevin Boyd is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran (25 years) supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's Coastal Sail Training Program as an instructor trainer onboard their 44-foot Morris Yacht sailing vessels. Captain Kevin is also a licensed powerboating instructor for the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts; and also helps owners of new powerboats with on-water training: close-quarters boating fundamentals, safe docking, and open-water maneuvering. His recent Bareboat Charter Master instructor certification achieved in December 2024 is now helping serve boat owners achieve international boat chartering goals.
