Level V Bareboat Charter Master Rank Chief Sailing Instructor / Assessor

Baltimore Sailing Center was founded in 2023 by a group of cruising sailors to provide a community based sailing and education experience. We offer very affordable memberships at crew and skipper levels. Most of our programming is focused on events (week day sails, mentoring sails, night sails and some overnights) which are available to all members with the skipper level members skippering the boats. Our goal is to have experienced and new sailors sail together, provide mentoring and a hands-on learning environment. We also offer a mentoring program that is focused on improving specific skills along with a qualified mentor or instructor. I have been sailing most of my life, starting with dinghies and racing as a teenager, moving on to larger keelboat racing and most recently doing a lot of cruising as well as mentoring and instruction on cruising vessels in the 30-45ft range. I look forward to meeting you on one of our cruising sailboats.

Baltimore Sailing Center offers a great community to learn, practice, and great cruising sailboats to practice on. Ali is and awesome instructor with lots of experience teaching. I can't say enough good things. You'll get your money's worth several times over. If you've ever wanted to charter this is the best preparation and the best deal out there...Plus there is a good chance you'll meet some folks you'll want to charter with at some really amazing destinations. If you're on the fence...give BSC and NauticEd a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Ali is a fantastic sailing instructor. He spends a lot of time instructing new sailors and is very good at breaking down difficult sailing concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand and remember. Please do yourself a favor and go sail with Ali whether it be a lesson, a skills refresh or an exam, he is the best!
