Jessica Wissmann is a passionate and dedicated Boating Instructor with a lifelong love for boating. Growing up, Jessica spent her summers on the Chesapeake Bay with her family, building a deep connection to the boating community. Inspired by her father's dream of cruising the Caribbean, she embarked on numerous adventures, including a year-long sail from Annapolis to Grenada. After graduating high school, Jessica joined the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), where she excelled in Search and Rescue and Law Enforcement missions. As the only female coxswain (boat captain) in District 1, she paved the way for women in maritime roles. Jessica's impressive career includes becoming a Surfman in the Northwest and serving as a Search and Rescue Mission Coordinator. After retiring from the USCG, her and her husband established CoastEase LLC, a captain services company that offers hands-on boat training, captains for deliveries, and charters on their 18-passenger Tiki Boat.
