I am a USCG Captain, certified sailing instructor with a background as a Commercial Helicopter Pilot, flying a wide variety of tasks: firefighting, power lines, Law Enforcement, tours and teaching. My sailing journey started as a hobby and has now grown into me sharing my passion with others. I'm here to turn sailing lessons into an adventure and take your new skills straight to the water for some hands-on excitement. I organize flotillas where you learn to sail & manage a sailboat, sharing the experience with like-minded people. To date we have sailed in: ST. Lucia, BVI, Croatia, Greece, Tahiti, Thailand, Bahamas, Balearic Islands & the Sea of Cortez. I can train in Whiskeytown on my Hunter 26.5 throughout the year, and then in Long Beach on my Beneteau 343 by appointment. I can also travel and teach on your boat. The other option available is to sign up on one of my organized Flotilla Sails throughout the world and sail with like minded people.

Notes: I have a Hunter 26.5 on Whiskeytown Lake for basic keelboat training and I have a Beneteau 343 for teaching large keelboat and yacht charters. I also organize sailing flotillas on catamarans and teach during those charters.
