Chris Lobel is a full-time, commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and the owner-skipper of Saga, a classic S&S Swan 47. Having sailed since age 7—from international Olympic-class 470 dinghy racing to massive bluewater ocean crossings. Chris left the corporate world in 2016 to dedicate his life to full-time training. Through Saga47swan Sailing, he specializes in true hands-on, full-crew involvement passages, teaching celestial navigation, weather routing, and heavy-weather tactics. Whether you are preparing to cut the dock lines for your own blue-water cruising adventures or aiming to master complex offshore passages, Chris puts you at the helm to build the deep ocean seamanship and skipper confidence required for open blue water sailing adventures.
