SORRY THIS IS SOLD OUT. BUT STAND BY MORE COMING. Ready to elevate your sailing skills? Join our exclusive women-only instructional sailing program from January 16-23, 2026, exploring the stunning Windward Islands of Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This isn't just a vacation; it's an immersive experience designed to build your confidence and expertise for independent bareboat chartering. Sail aboard one of two comfortable yachts, each led by an expert female instructional captain. With just two private cabins available per yacht (a total of 4 cabins across both boats), you'll enjoy personalized attention and your own private cabin. What You'll Master: Our hands-on curriculum goes beyond the basics, focusing on real-world application: Anchoring Techniques: Master bow/stern anchoring and tight-bay maneuvers. Advanced Navigation: Hone your skills with distance sailing, chart plotting (with currents), and international check-in/out procedures. Precision Sail Trim: Optimize sails for performance, practice underway reefing, and master sailing off anchor/mooring. Confident Docking & Power Maneuvering: Improve close-quarters control, including marina docking and maneuvering under power. Power Maneuvering Tactics: Learn essential control techniques like heaving-to and lying ahull for challenging conditions. Introduction to Night Sailing: Gain valuable pre-dawn sailing experience navigating by moonlight. Your Path to Bareboat Chartering: This program provides the comprehensive skills, confidence, and logged experience needed for independent bareboat chartering. You'll gain mastery over intermediate techniques and actively participate in the full boat check-out and check-in processes, preparing you for real-world charter demands. Crucially, you'll accumulate valuable sailing days for your logbook, including significant time as master of the vessel. This direct experience, combined with the intensive training, can prepare you for formal certifications like the NauticEd Bareboat Charter Master Course, a widely recognized program for demonstrating competence. Program Details: Availability: Offered by the cabin; each participant gets a private cabin. There are two yachts participating, with only two cabins available per yacht, for a total of four cabins across both boats. Crew & Training: Yes, each yacht has an expert female instructional captain providing intensive, hands-on training. Expectations: Ideal for those with solid sailing skills ready for an immersive learning experience focused on becoming proficient for bareboat chartering. Per Cabin Cost: $5,600. This includes: Opportunity to work with three instructional captains. Light provisioning (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and 3-4 dinners aboard). Mooring fees. Customs fees. Re-fueling. Additional Costs (Estimated): Airfare to/from Grenada (GND). Optional pre/post-program shore accommodations.
