Student Reviews
Overall, it’s a great self-pace course! From the reading material to the videos are icing on the cake to ensure the visual aspect of learning. I will definitely recommend NauticEd to others as the TOP Sailing Education Platform for learning how to sail with confidence.
This built on previous courses which brought lots together to make good overall sense. The different courses have synergistic overlapping material to help learning.

Good information, clear
So I wanted to come back and provide feedback regarding this anchoring taught here. It works and it works great! I had three nights on anchor in the BVI and I was in three foot waves and it was gusting to over 20kts. I did not drag once on anchor. I will always use this anchor technique and it raised my confidence and competence level exponentially.
Great course because emphasizes safety first with an eye towards etiquette.
Great descriptions of various anchor design strengths in various holding scenarios. Also appropriately emphasizes the importance of chain rode, or at least a length of it, in setting and holding an anchor, with adjusted rode length estimations, in a very rational presentation. Well done.
Good review on amchor types and performance.
This course is a fair summary of the Blackwells' excellent book on anchoring. The videos are good.
