To be technically accurate as possible which one would be preferable for this section assuming you can measure both?

I found the material was missing the explanation of why Speed Through Water is used instead of SOG to measure true wind, so I went to searching for more information and found this forum thread, which really cleared things up for me: http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?474209-Raymarine-True-amp-Apparent-Wind-calculation I think it would be useful to add a discussion about "Ground Wind" versus "True Wind" and why each matters (and differs) to make the chapter more clear.
