If rental seems fishy be sure to also check gearbox dipstick - especially look if oil is milky - this means water in oil. When fishing line wraps around the prop you will not notice it but it can run up the shaft and break the seal. Do not get blamed for this - gearshift rebuild is mighty expensive… this dipstick is usually very hard to reach but sometimes it is worth the effort…
