"So what if at Port Farrow, it is neither high at 0000 or high at 0600 because it is neither Spring nor Neap? What if the high tide is 0900? The tide is midrange. The high tide time then at Rodney Cove would be halfway between the 38 Spring and 18 Neap point. (38+18)/2 = 28 minutes prior to Farrow at 0832. Additionally, you could take a mid-range between 0.2 meters higher and 0.2 meters lower with the answer of zero difference." Why is the tide considered "midrange" between 0000 and 0600? Why not 0300? I don't understand why we use between Neap and Spring tide and note just Neap or just Spring??
