Chris is knowledgeable and very patient using a socratic method of question and answer to test knowledge while engaging in practical experiences.
It seemed Captain Block moved a bit fast at first, but once terminology and basics were understood, His teaching style was found to be clear and concise.
Capt. “Chris” Block is an outstanding sailing instructor!! His vast real world catamaran experience is transferred to the student (my wife and I) through timely coaching and sound advice. He takes the time to answer any questions that I may have! He’s also completely flexible on date & time of sail training which works well with our busy schedules! I highly recommend Chris to anyone that wants to learn to charter & sail large modern cats (>40)!
